Processing time depends on the type of KITAS and the completeness of your documents — typically between 7 working days and 20 calendar days. For work-related KITAS, the visa itself is usually issued within 5 working days after payment is received, and the e-ITAS is issued upon your arrival in Indonesia.

To establish a local PT, you generally need at least 2 founders/shareholders, a company name and address, business purpose (KBLI code), details of authorized and paid-up capital, the composition of Directors and Commissioners, founders' identification and NPWP, a notarial deed of establishment, and legal entity approval from the Ministry of Law (AHU). Requirements differ for PT PMA (foreign-owned companies), which also involve checks on foreign investment eligibility, ownership limits, and minimum capital.
